ALBERGO ETICO is a house but also a meeting place to grow, meet and
acquire the tools to integrate into society in an independent way and
with dignity, without hypocrisy. This is the philosophy which hold up
the bases of Albergo Etico, the synthesis of Download Project, which
embodies a different way of assistance to disabled. A word-game “Down
and Load”, which means upload and download informations. Side by side
to professional of catering, these guys can gain skills and
experience. Both in the kitchen, while serving customers and behind
the counter of an ice cream shop or a butcher, to pass down all this
(experience) to their classmates.

 

An Hotel, a School, a House, a Future.

The AlbergoEtico (Ethical Hotel) target is the establishment of a medium/large size Hotel with annexed a Wellness Centre with pools, a gym and park. The focal point of the ptoject will be the introduction of handicapped people in the staff.

An Hotel as such, capable of competing in the market place offering quality services, organized and run with the help of professionals, whose objective is the recovery of people with sensorial and physical handicaps.
A School, with an active formation approach, fully involved in the day to day work in the hotel environment.
A House, were people with sensorial and physical handicaps can learn through the various Hotel diciplines to be independent  and have the possibility to apply this knowledge to everyday life.
A Future, in the active society as volunteer, worker, independent citizen.
